The School is a Girls’ Day School, which services the educational need of students from Classes I to XII. It is an English and Bengali Medium school. The school is located in Bonhooghly Government Colony area of Baranagar. The school was established in 1950. The classes in Dum Dum Ananda Ashrama Sarada Vidyapeeth start from January to December for every academic year.
Launched the additional subjects ITES (IT Enabled Services) & RETAIL for students of Class IX onwards under Vocational Council of West Bengal as NVEQF project. Also, the same is also started for Class XI as Level-3.Six-months Vocational Course in Tailoring & Toy Making. (Qualification required – Minimum Class VIII passed).

In our school, a very initiative programme of Career Counsellingis conducted for Madhyamik and Higher Secondary (H.S.) passed students every year. Infact, in this Pandemic situation, this programme is going on by virtual lectures by teachers of all subjects from well-recognized Institutions. The main objective of conducting this programme is to help students overcome their immediate problems in taking decision to study their own choice of subject enabling them to excel in that field. It also helps them to understand their own strengths and weaknesses with regard to a subject and let them know what career they would be suited for.
